“Jesus and his disciples went out in the Judean countryside, where he spent some time with them…” John 3:22 The phrase “spent some time with them” is translated from Greek as diatrebo” which means to rub off against. Jesus invited his disciples to follow him, giving them the blessing of having him rub off his power and purpose into their daily lives so they had Jesus to rub off onto others!
